THE RAMS Community
The Glenunga Rams spirit extends far beyond the basketball courts. We are a family of clubs dedicated to sporting excellence and community development. Playing multiple sports builds stronger all‑round athletes by developing coordination, agility, and resilience that transfer across activities. It also keeps kids motivated and confident by reducing burnout, encouraging social connections, and making physical activity more fun and sustainable. We have a strong sense of community, where our male and female programs coexist and work with each other. Our culture exists because how we act through our values.
Glenunga Basketball Club is governed by a volunteer committee that manages policies, safety, coaching standards, and conduct. It follows competition rules set by local associations and complies with BasketballSA regulations and national Basketball Australia guidelines to ensure fairness, child protection, and consistent governance across junior community basketball programs.
All RAMS Members (players, coaches, officials and spectators) are expected to abide by the following documents.

What does my seasonal fee cover?
Seasonal fees cover court hire for training and games, coaching equipment, association team nomination fees, and club insurance. We work hard to keep these affordable for our community.
Can I get a refund if my child decides not to play?
Refunds are available prior to the season commencement, less a $50 administrative fee. Once the season has started and teams are registered with the association, refunds are generally only provided for medical reasons with a certificate.
What happens if I miss the payment due date?
Late payments may result in a player being ineligible to take the court until fees are settled. If you are experiencing difficulty, please contact our treasurer early to discuss a plan.
Who should I contact for financial assistance?
We support community accessibility. Please submit a contact form with the contact reason 'Financial Support' to discuss hardship options or installment plans in confidence.
What are the costs as a member?
There are club subscription fees, owed directly to the club, and association fees that are paid directly to Adelaide Community Basketball Association (ACBA) or Basketball South Australia (BSA).
Club subscription fees keep our players protected and the club running smoothly. This covers court hire, coaching support, and seasonal administrative costs for team placement.
